Grant Program

The California Institute of Technology in collaboration with the University of California, Los Angeles has established The Joint Center for Translational Medicine (JCTM). The JCTM’s Seed Grant Program, Translational Acceleration Grants (TAG) provides awards to support highly competitive applications from Caltech and UCLA faculty proposing research that will advance efforts in translational medicine. The program provides one year of support and a possible one-year extension depending on the quality of progress towards the translational goal. To date, the JCTM has provided over $4 million dollars in funding.
